New Frame Available only in Wooster Roller Kits

Roller kits are a great value over buying painting tools separately. They also save time since painting can often begin immediately after removing the shrink wrap. Now Wooster roller kits have even more to offer, thanks to a newly engineered frame. Like every item in our kits, it’s made in the USA.

Many will look at this roller frame and ask, “Where are the wires? Aren’t cages supposed to have wires?” But painters familiar with the best-selling Wooster Sherlock® frame will notice some valuable design similarities. The new kit frame features a blue polypropylene cage, made up of three rails that are supported by four rings for added strength. This one-piece construction allows for consistent pressure along the entire length of a roller. Friction points on the outside of the rails help to hold a cover in place.

The new tool may be hot off the engineering table, but it does share some elements with other Wooster frames. The shank is made of 1/4-inch galvanized wire. It also has a dual-use handle—it fits comfortably in the hand, and is threaded for use with standard extension poles. The blue polypropylene material makes this frame both durable and lightweight.

If you’ve purchased Wooster kits in the past, don’t worry—the frame may have changed, but the pricing hasn’t. Painters won’t find this tool anywhere for individual sale. It’s packaged exclusively inside Wooster roller kits such as the Super Doo-Z® and Golden Flo™ kits shown here. Ask for these great all-in-one kits and others at your favorite Wooster source.
