Javelin™ Pole

Sherlock GT Javelin Goes the Distance. For years painters have been asking for a Sherlock® extension pole longer than 16 feet. Now, with the new Sherlock GT® Javelin, painters can add four feet to any GT pole.

The grip end of the Javelin has a ramp feature that lets it easily clip onto a Sherlock GT pole. The connection is very secure, without any slips or turns. Attached to the 16-foot GT or GT Convertible pole, this can provide 20 feet of reach!

The Javelin—made of strong but lightweight anodized aluminum—is also designed to be used on its own as a separate pole. It is comfortable to hold because of its rounded shape and textured grip end.

John Fattor, Wooster district manager of Maryland, Delaware, and eastern Pennsylvania, pointed out, "Using the Javelin only as an extension pole extender is missing the boat. As a sanding pole, the Javelin is unique—it's a winner. Painters use pole sanders daily. The Javelin eliminates the weak spot in most sanding poles (the point between the metal tip and the wood), so you can rely on its strength and durability."

The same bayonet Grip Tip™ as the other Sherlock GT poles allows the Javelin to be used best with Wooster professional tools. These tools have a black GT insert that gives them the no-slip, easy-to-switch connection to the Javelin. Instantly change tools with one push on the fiberglass-reinforced nylon lever. The Javelin works with standard threaded tools too, by adding the R042 Conversion Tip.

Sherlock GT Javelin is available at all traditional paint and decorating centers or hardware stores. Ask for catalog number R060-48. Approximate retail price is $18.49 USD.

The Javelin works only with Wooster Sherlock GT or Sherlock GT Convertible poles. For performance and safety reasons, only one Javelin can be connected to one GT.
